EMC SRDF 与 BCV 克隆操作命令参考
RDF
at the beginning, I normally check dynamic capable devices,
# symdev list -dynamic
check the RDF goup info
#symcfg list -RA ALL# symcfg list
##Finding RDF Devices# symdg list
##List Device Groupnormally we need to add RDF ports in 17 rule, so I added 14c to local 14d to remote RDF dirs (create 2 physical RDF links):
# symrdf addgrp -label dyn30 -rdfg 30 -sid 1112 -dir 3c,14c -remote_rdfg 30 -remote_sid 1125 -remote_dir 3d,14d
##Add Dynamic RDF Group and Create Linkbe reminded that below sid and rdf group # are not carrying on above Hongjing's command
# symrdf createpair -file c4pairs -sid 0334 -rdfg 01 -type rdf1 -invalidate r2
##Create RDF Pair by file c4pairs and invalidate R2 volumec4pairs text file example, text only

dynamic RDF pair deletion. Used when customer needs to remove RDF feature in bin file, or change RDF pair to another box:
#symrdf deletepair -file c4pairs -sid 1112 -rdfg 01create pair and establish in one command (without using DG)
#symrdf createpair -file c4pairs -sid 1112 -rdfg 01 -type rdf1 -est# symdg create yydg -type RDF1
## Create Device Group# symld -g yydg addall dev -sid 1112 -range 083:4F3
##Add device into Device Group# symdg show yydg
##Display detail information about Device Group# symrdf -g yydg establish
##Incrementally establish the RDF Pair<Jing> we could combine into one command to do all above command for new createpair, createdg, establish in some cases.
# symrdf createpair -file c4pairs -sid 0334 -rdfg 01 -type rdf1 -establish -g yydg
<Jing> since all the new vol establish will cause R1 performance poor,we could change the sync type
#symrdf –g yydg set mode acp_disk# symrdf -g yydg query -i 5
##Query Pair Status by 5 Sec Interval
when checked the sync almost done
#symrdf -g yydg set mode sync# symrdf -g yydg split
##Instant Split # symrdf -g yydg query -i 5
##Show the Pair has already splitted but the background split is still processed# symrdf -g yydg verify
##Verify Pair Status to confirm that the pair has been splitted completely and only when pair been splitted completely you can perform the next action to the pairClone
# symdg create zwdg -type regular
##Create Device Group with type Regular# symld -g zwdg addall dev -sid 1112 -range 083:4F3
##Add device into DG# symbcv -g zwdg associateall dev -range startdev:enddev
## Associate BCV devive into DG# symclone -g zwdg create -precopy –differential
##Create precopy session for the standards and BCVs and parameter -differential must be used if you want to recreate and restore incrementallyCmccsd : symclone –g zwdg create –copy –diff
Symclone –g activate –consis # symclone -g zwdg activate
## Activate the clone operation for all clone pairs in the device group and clone target is ready for access# symclone -g zwdg recreate
## recreate pair incrementally# symclone -g zwdg activate # symclone -g zwdg establish –full
##Equate create and active command with the parameter -copy# symclone -g zwdg query –i 5
##query clone pair status by 5 Sec interval# symclone -g zwdg verify
##Verify the actual status of the pair# symclone -g zwdg terminate -noprompt
##Terminate the clone session and delete the pair information and the clone target is not ready.# symstat command provide the statistics information about Director, Device Group, Disk and Device. It is very useful tools to investigate the performance issue. And this command has a lot of parameter to combine to obtain the data what you need.
