更换 IBM XIV 1TB 硬盘时须核对硬盘厂商
XIV 1TB DDM now have two Part Number:
45W8867 2810-A14 1TB DDM Seagate
45W0490 2810-A14 1TB DDM Hitachi
Although both DDMs are all 1T SATA DDM, But they can not sub each other.
When you replace the DDM you should follow the like for like principle, which means "Must be replaced with the same part number"
You run xcli command "disk_list" to check which kind of DDM was installed in your machine .
For example:

In this case, your DDM is Hitachi 1TB DDM, then your should use 45W0490 for DDM replacement.
Cc CAGs, when you PO the DDM parts for 281X machine, pls ask SSR to check the DDM type carefully.
We have one wrong replacement in field just now, we need replace the DDM to the right FRU, which will influence our service quality deeply.
